A Casino Gambling guide for the uninitiated

There is even a book by the title of ‘Casino Gambling for Dummies’ by Kevin Blackwood and can be found at all good book retailers.  It certainly covers the basic elements about casino gambling and according to reviews is a helpful guide to those starting out at the very beginning of their casino gambling careers.

I’m sure that we have all seen movies where there are characters who swagger into casinos, drop a few thousand dollars at the Craps table, or Blackjack and we think to ourselves, ‘wow, that is so cool’.  Well yes it is, but if you want to be able to swagger into a casino and hold your own casino gambling you will have to brush up on the basics.  I’m sure that once you begin to feel confident about what you are doing (and it will take some time and practice) you can begin to develop that swagger.  Of course you will need to keep things in perspective and at all times remember to respect the particular game that you are playing and also your opponents.

Casino gambling means that you are prepared to participate in the rarefied atmosphere that is a casino.  It’s not really like anything else; the space, yet combined with the intimacy of the table that you are playing at or the slot machine, the tension between you and the cards and you and your opponents.
